As the interim director of Enlace, I worked with a non-profit group based out of the US called Linking Hands for Learning, to build a set of classrooms in a rural town outside of El Sauce. The project was a collaborative effort with the local Mayor’s office and the Ministry of Education. As Enlace, we coordinated all the logistics and construction of the school. Through Enlace Project’s Trip Program we organized all the travel logistics for the group of volunteers who came on behalf of the Linking Hands for Learning group to help initiate the construction.
